Hope you have a safe and pleasant day with good friends and family as we remember those who have passed on from this earth ahead of us. It is hard for me to believe nearly all of my elders have passed now, but they left me with a lifetime of memories and lessons and love.
I am taking this week off to celebrate a happy miles stone as my son graduates from high school and friends come in from out-of-state to participate in this joyous occasion. There is much to show them in our diverse and happening city, plus a trip to the ocean of course, and putting a spatula in some one's hand at the BBQ grill as we party down with the grad!
